The Dark Knight Rises Security Team Used Standing to Deter Set Spy Pics

“The first woman I ran into, one of the PAs, I think, said, ‘You can’t take pictures here.’ It was on the sidewalk and I said, ‘I know my rights; I’m on a public sidewalk,’” paparazzo Jared Wickerham told Moviefone about the process behind the now-famous photos he snapped on the set of The Dark Knight Rises. “So she went up to one of the security guards and came back and just decided to stand in front of me. Since I shoot sports, I had a nice, long lens, so I just took a few steps back and shot around her.” [Moviefone]

90210 Spoiler Pics: Bikini Jousting!

It’s official: Naomi Clark either will NOT be with child on season four of 90210, despite the May finale cliffhanger, or she’ll be the world’s worst pregnant person.

We’ve come to this conclusion based on the release of a few set shots. First, we saw AnnaLynne McCord filming an upcoming scene in which she’s blindfolded and bashing a pinata. Not great for a fetus, but not an automatic death sentence, either.

Now, though, we’ve come across a couple more photos from season four that depict nary a baby bump on Naomi… but do showcase her involved in what we can only assume is a sorority competition, one in which no expecting young woman should be involved: bikini jousting.

So, will Naomi have a miscarriage? Will the concluding scene of season three prove to be a false positive? There is a new showrunner on board, it’s conceivable she just wipes the slate clean for this character.

What do you think? Sound off now in our Comments section and/or 90210 forum!

“The other girls don’t know about her. But it’s her secret life,” Hodge teases.

Holiday Mathis’ horoscopes for Thurs., Aug. 11

Though the Capricorn moon is usually a good time for progress, today’s void-of-course lunar journey combines with Mercury’s retrograde in Leo and an opposition of Mars and Pluto to create a different kind of effect. It’s a one step forward, two steps back situation. If you don’t want to take two steps back, the best move may be to stand still.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You lift the hearts and moods of others just by showing up. It’s a lucky time for meeting fun people who also happen to be good for you to know on a professional level.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). There are those around you who act like the police of every situation. You’re not so worried about controlling other people’s activities. You have your own beautiful chaos to control.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You don’t have to try to be original, because you already are. You can’t help it! No two people — not even twins — have the same fingerprint. You will leave your unique mark on the world.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Everyone in your life has different preferences pertaining to personal space. Some like eye contact, others want hugs, and still others like to stay at a distance. You’ll be observant and hit the right note with one and all.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You will not be confused with a neat freak anytime soon. That is, unless you devote several hours to handling a certain area of your home. This is the perfect time to get in there and get it done.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The information trail goes cold, and yet you still feel a burning desire for knowledge. You might see this as a chance to seek the deeper knowing that comes from your intuition.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You have no way of knowing who will be able to make use of your talent and ideas. That’s why it’s important to advertise. Post your message where it will reach as many people as possible.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Troubled people will gravitate toward you. They sense your empathic nature, and they will tell you their problems. Don’t worry about offering help. Your listening ears are help enough.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your innate managerial skills will be put to use. You’ll sense who is the best person for the job, and you’ll know just how to state things to make the job appealing to that person.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). No one can be 100 percent confident at all times. You may struggle with your own fears, doubt and skepticism, but keep pushing on anyhow. In the end, you’ll be victorious over these feelings.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). It will feel good to give to a loved one, especially when the person isn’t even asking. Also, on some deep level, you know that if you don’t watch out for the other person’s quality of life, it will go down for both of you.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Not only will you be able to see into the future, but you’ll do so in vivid detail. All you have to do is close your eyes and imagine what will happen next. Use your gift to create the perfect action plan.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (August 11). You’ll dream big and then work backward to construct a framework for building that dream. Strong personal relationships are a source of fun and adventure in September. You’ll give a stellar performance in October. A quest to make the most of your money will help you afford a beautiful new lifestyle in January. Sagittarius and Taurus people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 17, 20, 41 and 23.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: “I learned that someone close to me was not who he said he was. I’m stunned. I don’t see how a person can pretend to be one person when that is not who he is at all. Now I don’t know what to think or who to trust. Do certain signs tend to lie about themselves more than others? Because I would like to avoid that sign so this never happens to me again.”

There are many factors that affect the way a person presents himself. I do not believe that one can accurately blame an astrological aspect. Everyone has the free will to act in his own best interest. Lying is a personal choice. Even if there are astrological indicators as to why your friend felt it was necessary to mislead others, it would be very impractical for you to pinpoint and avoid them in the future. You would then have to do the astrological chart of everyone in the world. Instead, take the lesson. Were there any early warning signs you received to tip you off that this person was lying? Probably yes. Remember those, and focus on building your trust of your own intuition.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak shared about his journey from computer geek to cult icon in his autobiography “iWoz.” The same Leo love of entertaining that led him to bring novel devices to parties to amuse the guests has motivated his lifelong quest to bring a superior computing experience to people around the world. Wozniak’s natal chart is also influenced by many intuitive water-sign planets.

American Reunion Producer Admits American Pie Sequels Kinda Sucked

americanreunion-reunion-120.jpgAlmost all of the original American Pie entire series gang is back for American Reunion — even MILF Guy Number 2 himself, John Cho — but producer Craig Perry admits it took a while for some of the cast to get over what the series had become: “As much as you say that the people maybe wanted to put that behind them, age and distance have made them realize that it’s their legacy, and you can either disavow it or embrace it and be happy,” he tells Box Office Magazine. However, Perry promises, Stifler will be more of a human being this time around. Wait a minute — Stifler, the buffoon who ingests all manner of disgusting crap accidentally for our entertainment, a fully-fleshed out character? What fun is that? [Box Office Magazine]

Kellie Pickler gives Hard Rock a glimpse of her life so far

Kellie Pickler performs at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood. (Veda Jo Jenkins / sflimages.com)

At just 19 years old, Kellie Pickler auditioned for American Idol and made into to the top 12. She was among Simon Cowell’s favorites that year — a feat in itself, for as we all know Cowell doesn’t hand out compliments easily. Pickler left American Idol in sixth place.

On Tuesday at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Pickler let us in on how her life has evolved since then.

For most of the show Pickler was smiling, waving to fans and had an upbeat rhythm going on. You could definitely get the feeling that her recent marriage to songwriter Kyle Jacobs — they eloped on Jan. 1, 2011 — was her most precious and important event in her life so far.

Kellie Pickler at the Hard Rock | Visit this writer’s website

“Our first date was at the Cracker Barrel. We played 20 questions as we sat in the rocking chairs out on the porch. We didn’t even hear them call our name,” Pickler told the audience.

For a wedding present her husband, Jacobs, bought her two rocking chairs from the Cracker Barrel and it moved her so much she wrote the song “Rock Away”, which came out on her latest album Tough released in June. By the ring on her finger I would have to say this small-town country girl has come a long way, leaving her sordid childhood behind.

Well not too far behind. Halfway through the show, the lights dimmed and Pickler took a seat upfront, a single white light silhouetting her. She talked about how she wrote this song as she headed for Tennessee after coming off the American Idol tour. She performed her second single “I Wonder”, which is a personal song about her absent relationship with her mother, Cynthia Morton. The intimacy of the words and the delivery left me feeling both sad and proud for Pickler. You have to wonder how tough that was to grow up with, but yet she still persevered.

The show didn’t stay down for long. With the lights back up, the band started rocking out and Pickler moved right into “Small Town Girl”. Besides Pickler’s sweet southern charm and infectious smile, her voice is rather solid and that southern accent makes you think of Dolly Parton.

It’s very difficult to come close to Parton, but Pickler threw in a couple of her songs into the mix — “Jolene” and for an encore, “9 to 5”. She also did a cover of “Stand By Your Man” by Tammi Wynette.

The whole show itself was an intimate look into the life of Pickler. From her first song she remembers signing with her grandpa, “My Bucket’s Got a Hole in It”, to her latest release “Tough”, all of Pickler’s music is a reflection of her life like most country signers — maybe minus the dog and the booze. Well there’s still time for that.
